BURN, BABY, BURN: an unauthorized crucible parody

A sizzling new twist on The Crucible, where a teenage girl and her friends take revenge on the grown man who abused her and the town that let it happen.  BURN, BABY, BURN… centers Abigail Williams as the morally ambiguous protagonist in this wickedly witty 70-minute one-act that paints the town of Salem hot pink.

“Vivienne Blouin is masterful writer and world-builder. All of her characters have pulse and are able to create empathy from mere words on pages. Her works all have a distinct atmosphere that’s distinctly her own, but she also has the generosity to share these glimpses into humanity with others and is adaptable in the way all good artists are: she lets others make her work their own.”
